We had an excellent lunch here. The mushroom sandwhich was prepared well. If you want to try their soups, they offer a sampler of three, which is a meal in itself. A rare find is the African Peanut Soup - which I liked. Comfortable home environment. Efficient and professional wait service.

Warm, cozy, and the perfect place for a winter wedding breakfast to fill up and caffeinate for the big day. So much selection that there is something delicious for everyone--no matter how varied the food preferences or restrictions. Plus the staff is as sweet as their pie.

Great food. My husband had a latte and I had the portobello sandwich on gluten free bread and the peanut soup. All was really good but the soup needed a bit more salt.

Super friendly staff, super cozy environment and really good food. I had the sirachi fries and the French dip sandwich. Everything was seasoned and so delicious. Really appreciate how warm and friendly the staff is too.

The staff were all incredibly nice. I came with a party of 7. Our food came out pretty fast and the quality of the food was top notch. It was nice to see a menu where everything was interesting. I ordered the soup flight of three. The split pea was very good. The crowded Chowder was just okay. The clam chowder was just too runny, in my opinion. The African peanut soup was incredible. I also ordered a half turkey sandwich on rye with the cranberry sauce and it was a 10/10. Overall, this place was an easy 5 star just on service and food quality alone. The ambiance of the place felt family friendly.

It has been years since I have been here - and it is even better than I remembered. There wee so many things on the menu I wanted to try - the soups looked amazing! A little warm today for that, so a chicken burger and a sandwich, both of which were excellent and large enough we took half home. The wedge fries were perfect. Service was quick and friendly and fun! Located next to village books, a great place to peruse purchases or take a break from shopping. Or just walk up to for a meal.

Always terrific! I so love this place. My favorite is the Southwest Club, but honestly-- everything is great here. Their African soup is a must have when you visit. The staff is friendly, attentive and very professional -- they're equally outstanding.

A cute, quiet place to have a night on the town with your significant other, enjoy by yourself or take a whole group of people to! The food is divine, the people are kind and friendly, and the environment is so cute! Highly recommend! Special shoutout to Gabby, our server, who was especially helpful and fun to be around!

I'm still sitting here at Colophon and had to write this review. Masonia the server (and asking as hostess the day I was here) is a ray of sunshine. The way she treats everyone like they're old friends and helps them with a huge smile on her face is something to behold. It's a genuine smile because she radiates happiness. Oh and by the way the food is phenomenal. I had a delicious quiche and cup of soup, a crisp cider and I ended it all with a huge comforting mug of chai. This place also has stellar atmosphere. Do not hesitate to come here.
